Each puzzle hides a fleet of ships in a grid. The numbers beside each row and column say how many ship cells it holds, and ships never touch, not even diagonally. Tap a cell once for water and twice for a ship. To see the tutorial again, go to Settings → Help → Replay tutorial.

Yes. The app is free to download, with 60 puzzles across Easy, Medium and Hard, plus a new daily puzzle every day. Extra packs, and an option to unlock every pack at once, are one-off in-app purchases. There are no ads and no subscription.

No. You can start playing straight away. Signing in with Google saves your progress to your account, so you keep your streak and achievements on a new iPhone.

Level packs play without a connection. The daily puzzle and friend challenges need one, because they are timed and ranked on our server. Anything you play offline syncs the next time you connect.

Solve at least one puzzle a day (UK time) without showing the solution to keep your streak going. Every 10 different puzzles you solve earns a streak freeze, up to 3. If you miss a day, a freeze is used automatically.

Add a friend from the Friends tab with an invite link or their username, then tap the bolt next to their name and pick a difficulty. You both get the same puzzle, and the faster valid time wins. Each challenge lasts 48 hours.

Go to Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases, signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If that doesn’t help, email us.

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and everything stored with it, including your times, streak, achievements and friends.
